Chris Edwards, a sixth-generation Oregonian, was born in Roseburg. He spent his early years in Bandon and later his family moved to Eugene where he attended middle school and high school.

Chris has been happily married to his wife Ali, who runs her own creative business, for nearly 12 years. Chris and Ali have two children, Simon and Anna, who are the joys of their life.

Chris and Ali met during their college days at Oregon State University where Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and served as the fees chair for the OSU Student Government. After graduation from Oregon State, Chris returned to Eugene to learn the ins and outs of the family’s forest products business.

In 2006, Chris was elected to serve in the Oregon House of Representatives. Chris served in the Oregon House for three years, before being unanimously appointed by the Lane County Commission to serve in the Oregon Senate. Chris now serves the 120,000 + residents of Senate District 7.

When not working, Chris and the family enjoy trips to the park with their dog Lily, family swim night, and just spending time around the Edwards’ home.

Chris also enjoys traveling, reading, fishing and studying foreign cultures.
